The overall quality of the hotel and very friendly and helpful staff. I would highly recommend the hotel to anyone and will stay again if I return to Rome. This stay was with my wife at the end of a long business trip through Russia and much of Europe and was definitely the highlight of the trip.
Location was great. Room size for Europe was very good. Had room with terrace which was nice. Will stay again in future and recommend highly to others.
helpfull staff, location- location-location.. big room
'no wireless in the room
The location of the hotel was perfect; right next to the Trevi Fountain and short distances to other sites. The rooms were clean and the size of the rooms were great for a city hotel. The breakfast that was included had a very good selection and gave us a great start to the day.
Location, closeness to Trevi, Spanish Steps etc
Breakfast was extremely poor with synthetic fruit juices and instant coffee. This is not acceptable in a land where fruit is prolific and coffee a passion At the very high prices for rooms this should be improved on.
Good location and nice comfortable room. Having the bar and restaurant next door was very handy.
Staff could have been a little more helpful and could smile occasionally.
Friendly efficient staff. Room was neat and tidy and as described in the Hotel website which these days is not always the case. A well located city hotel for anyone wishing to tour Rome on foot. The attached Restaurant is very good also.
I had no bad experiences at the Hotel Delle Nazioni
I stayed at Hotel Delle Nazioni for 4 nights and it was excellent. I was on vacation with my younger brother and we really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. I originally booked it off of reviews that I had read and I'm so glad I did. The location is amazing. The Trevi fountain is literally right outside of the hotel, only a few hundred feet away. There are so many cute restaurants all around. We were able to walk everywhere! Their breakfast buffet was great. They had something for everyone. The rooms were spacious for a European hotel and the bathroom was huge. Giovanni, the bell hop, was our absolute favorite! He was the first person to welcome us to the hotel and his smile just made you feel so at home. There were 2 other gentlemen that worked at the front desk that were also very helpful (I think Salvotorre might have been the name of one of them?). They didn't have name tags on so I wasn't able to compliment them on here. I would definitely recommend this hotel for families, friends, couples.
The only bad encounter we had was with the woman who checked us out. She was telling me she wanted me to pay for the room in cash instead of using my credit card. When I told her I was not going to an atm machine to withdrawal that much money, she started to get all angry and rude. Again, no name tag on or I would have been able to make a complaint to management
The location of the hotel& the performance of the staff are so good and highly appreciated
Central location and ease of getting bus transport to various historical sites. The Breakfast options were magnificent with a large range to suit all tastes.Hotel staff were very helpful and friendly with all enquiries and airport transport was on time for both journeys.
The shower was only just big enough for a normal person other would struggle to fit in.Although we reserved a twin room with a double bed we got 2 single beds pushed together without any locking mechanism.
Location, location and location. Just 50 meters from Trevi Fountain and in the middle of the historic centre. We only used transportation to visit the Vatican, otherwise we walked the entire city from the hotel.
Staff, very unpolite and unfriendly. Everytime we asked a question or required assistance, they looked at us and answered bored. The fact that the WiFi is paid (and most of the time doesn't work, at least with Apple FaceTime) is also something that does not make sense nowadays. Breakfast is poor, and at 10h30 sharp the door is closed. I just recommend this hotel due to its location and convenience for a fairly good price, however forget the welcome feeling of the staff.
Not Much, the lobby was impressive and the domestic staff were nice and always friendly.
The bathroom was cramped, even in a junior suite. The bath was so narrow that you felt that you were losing balance when having a shower. There was no anti-slip mat available. The towels were "paper" thin - appalling quality for a "4 star" hotel. Lobby staff were indifferent to non Italian speaking guests, and not helpful to us in a constructive manner. They answered our queries with minimalist responses, never giving any additional information that may be of assistance to us as tourists. The staff at breakfast were terrible, barely acknowledhing any guests. We asked for cold milk & were directed to the jug of milk that had been sitting unrefrigerated for a long time. Staff in the hotel cafe were abrupt and unhelpful. There is no point in putting up (restaurant closure) signs in Italian only when the Hotel obviously attracts non Italian speaking customers.
In my opinion a hotel can make or break a holiday. The Delle Nazioni was great. It was very clean, modern and in a good position for sightseeing. The staff were friendly and the breakfast buffet was very good. Should I be lucky enough to revisit Rome I would not hesitate to stay there again.
Beds were a little hard for me but they didn't spoil my stay.
Breakfast Buffest was nice with a good range of food for different tastes. The staff were friendly. The rooms were really clean and the maids cleaned the rooms and provided new towels everyday. There was no noise during the night and when the windows were closed the room was completely blacked out which was good for getting a good nights sleep but you do need to set your alarm so that you get up as there is no natural light to wake you up in the room. The location was perrfect, right in the heart of everything.
The hot elements of the buffet breakfast was cold. There was no iron in the rooms and non in the hotel to borrow, the only way to iron your clothes was through a laundary service which charged 3Eur - 7Eur per item!!
for price value relationship this was an terrible choice. The staff was totally uncooperative and could care less about helping the guests. They were bored and indiffernet. A drab dreary lobby with few comfortable chairs, no concierge services, none of the amneties you expect for the room price.
